This family-run boutique hotel offers panoramic views of the bays of Lagos and Praia da Luz. The surrounding gardens are filled with multi-level sun terraces and there is a heated outdoor pool.

Quinta Bonita features free internet and spacious, air-conditioned rooms. Each granite bathroom has underfloor heating and is stocked with a luxury bathrobe and organic toiletries.

Organic fruit from the orchard and freshly baked bread from local bakeries is served for breakfast. Lunches are available daily and dinner is available once a week at Quinta Bonita Hotel, and there is a sheltered BBQ area.

The gardens with their cobbled pathways, fountains and giant chess set offer something for everyone. When weather is chilly, guests can curl up by the fireplace in the library with a cup of complimentary tea and a slice of cake.

The owners offer car and bike rental services, and can recommend nearby restaurant and sightseeing trips. Lagos and the Praia da Luz Beach are a 10-minute drive away.
